I was looking around for a bit and when this came up, 2001 GT-B for the price it just seem to work. Was originally planning V3 etc etc but after talking with my mechanic we reckon we can do some good things with this one

The loom is getting done on Saturday with a bit of chopping between old and new...what a mess

I'll be posting up some more pic updates Saturday night

I rikey! :D

Nice seats too.

Yeah they went in a few weeks ago. A bit more snug than the originals!!

Are you going to use the gen3 ECU? Reflashing FTW. Would a single turbo conversion be on the cards at some point?

yeah gonna use the gen 3 ecu. Was thinking about a haltech but just gotta see what happens. i was actually planning on doing the single conversion now but kinda ran outta time/money. It's definitely on the cards for down the track though. Exhaust is done. Hopefully start looking at the front mount tomorrow and wiring on Saturday. The plan is to be able to start her up by next Wednesday and go from there

Common knowledge that single turbo has more potential. My statement wasn't based on a personal opinion. Twins function fine for their purpose.

Twins aren't more fun IMO, for street they have more low down go woo hoo. But on a track/race/twisty's rev's are always up there, so lag is a non event. Jovan go in a big single turbo car lol, there is pull from start to finish and its 10x harder than the little secondary on the TT's lol. Just ask Dylan and Tristan.

No it's not. Single turbo Ej20-22-235-25 will make more power than a twin turbo EJ ever will. Period. You can design the engine build to suit what ever application you so want. And by doing so limit the lag. For example. Fatcat's EJ257 B4, which the last time I rode in it, it was fitted with a Vf39 and was making 180-200kw@w. Full boost at around 3200rpm? (How many NM frank?) It held that till red line no worries at all. I disliked my driving experience in the TT Supra. From all non biased accounts the Subaru TT system is not as good as that of the Toyota's. Therefore I've drawn the conclusion that I do not want to experience the TT Subaru. If others like it, then good on them. I am truly happy for them. It's just not for me. If your still not convinced, perhaps contact some reputable high performance Subaru builders. AMauto would be a good place to start... Besides all of that, The AUDM B4 has some design issues which puts me off them also. Again, another personal preference.

I'm staying out of this one.
But I will say it goes better now. Full boost by 3200, and pulls up almost any hill in 5th at 60kph.
APS SS42 makes a good match for a 2.5l. Very, very conservative tune is seeing 198ATW with completely standard intake.
I'd love to see a TT do that.
As Tony Montana would say:
In this country, you gotta make the money first.
Then when you get the money, you get the power.
Then when you get the power, then you get the women.
