The B4 fits 225's with no scrubbage, so I would think the outback should cracka.

Cheers,
Ben

MY00 Red RX, a nice daily that was sold off once the B4 became reliable...
MY02 Blue B4, aka 'The Project' - v8 JDM STi engine package and assorted other 'goodies' - Sold, then bought back for parts. Stripped and crushed.
MY03 Blue RX, the newer old daily, pretty well more B4 than RX now... In the process of being converted to the track toy... Watch this space!
MY02 Silver Wagon, H6 conversion, full blue/black leather and almost full black interior to go with it. In process of being stripped and sold off.
MY03 White/Silver H6 Outback, donor car for silver waghoon. Scrapped.
MY97 Silver RX, acquired to become track car, but plans changed. Scrapped.

MY13 BRG, current daily, very nice to drive, small mods to make it even nicer again.

Shiv's new wheels have 225s on them. Though the profile is 55.
Ive just fitted some new tyres on my 17s and they are 215/55/17 which apparently is the correct size for 17s on an Outback. Which is weird because on full lock they do scrub on the inside...

Yup, they fit no problems. No scrubbing at all.

Only thing that doesn't fit is a full size spare in the wheel well. Something I'm looking to get rectified this weekend...

I could go 215x55xR17 which are a touch over stock size or
225x50xR17 which are a touch under stock. Interesting that some
scub yet others do not.
Nothing left to break .

i'll be using standard 55+ wrx rims so 225's might be the go.

I have run 225 45 17 on the outback no scrubbing @ all.
Changed to a 225 50 17, they scrubbed on the lower plastic engine shield, but only on full lock.
Small mods to the undertray fixed that problems.
Only other problem is a 225 50 17 will not fit in the spare wheel well, even though it's dia is smaller than the 215 60 16 they came with.
