Clint,

Thats an impressive modifications list. You wouldn't pick that from looking at it. Loving the rear wing too, that looks awesome.

Questions, how to you find the TurboSmart2 EBC holds under full boost? Does it spike much, or does it hold it fairly consistently?

Cheers,
Shazza

TurboSmart2 EBC is currently on my waiting to go on the car list ;)

Current boost control is via tuned factory ecu and grimmspeed 3 port solenoid. No spiking and rock solid boost control.

Ta, goes very well on the track. Throwing a bunch more whiteline and cusco kit at it soon so it should handle even better :D

i've got a TurboSmart eBoost Street in the sedan an so far it's been an awesome little unit. Alex has one in the red sled as well and as far as i know loves it too. Don't personally know about the TurboSmart2 EBC but if it's half as reliable as the eBoost street your not going to have any issues with it

Anything with a decent three port solenoid is a winner in my books :drinks:

Car is very neat! used to walk past it every day on my way to work, gives me brake envy lol.

Looks like either the Whiteline thing worked and has got us more members.. or you finally wanted to know what the sticker on my car was for haha.

Welcome mate.

Welcome aboard.

Not usually a fan of Foresters, but this one appears to be a good allrounder.

Congrats and keep up the good work.

Questions: Why are you persisting with the TMIC?

Are you still running the original motor?

I've run the whole tmic vs fmic though in my mind previously so I decided to real time temp test the tmic in a number of situations including 40c+ days last summer. The heatsoak was there at traffic lights but temps came back down to normal very quickly once moving again which made up my mind for me. Why do all the extra work if I dont have to.
More than a handful of foresters about with 200kw+ and tmic too.

Yeap, still the original donk.

Awesome Forester.

Any issues with the extinguisher position? I was going to put one at the front of the passenger footwell.

Extinguisher clears the seat and slide lever no problem. The trick is use an 1kg extinguisher that is fairly short so it clears the lever. I used a quell auto model from bunnings that has the duel clamp restraining bracket. You get a strip of aluminium 30mmx3mm? and run it between the seat bolting points then fit the bracket using bolts or rivets.

The extinguisher looks lopsided in the picture below but its dead straight.
