Cheers guys!

Haha Nick. Maybe lower, just maybe. I didn't like the grille when I first saw them but it's grown on me.
If a nice honeycomb one pops up I'd look into it

Haha I've heard the tune can pry a little bit more out of it... Really enjoying the quietness though :P

Nah it's smaller than the Outback.
Higher off the ground, but smaller cabin space, etc.

yeah you'll get a bit more out of it with a tune but if your not going to upgrade cooler, tb exhaust, cai, fuel pump and turbo i personally wouldn't be bothering. you'd hate to pay all that money for tuning only to decide a) a tune is a lot of money for a smallish gane or b] yeah it's more drivable now but i want more and having to fork out for a second tune after doing all the mods you need.

you say now you don't want much more out of it, but i bet that'll change lol. in the past with your n/a's there was nothing much more you could squeeze from them but it's a very different story now. knowing that a 3" tbe and CAI will give a huge difference after a tune as opposed to a tune on a stock car i think you really need to consider them before committing to tuning it as is

do it once, do it right i say

Fair call. As parts become available I may look at my options and then finish it all off with a tune. We're just seriously trying to save for a house now so now that I have a comfortable, quick (IMO) car with decent boot space for lugging gear around I'll settle for a bit :P

Keep your eye out on different forums as exhuasts come up cheap every so often. A mate is looking at some intercoolers on eBay for around $150 and his planing on running 260+kw.

Mod smart, take your time and you'll be surprised how cheap you can get away with it.

Sif you'd wanna move out from your current house!! :P

Car looks good, Morgan. I should get cracking organising a SubyClub Central Coast run, shouldn't I? :)

I support the notion of doing turbo/IC/exhaust/tune all at once. Enjoy stock reliability until you can piece together all the bits and get it done in one go. I'll also put my neck out here and say that you'd be mad NOT to go to Michael South Racing as Somersby to get the work done. If you disagree, I'll get the Channel 4 news team to fight you - that is no lie.

PS: we should swap rides some time. I'll enjoy quiet refinement and you can enjoy 20psi through a VF23 and 6-speed/plated diff launchoscity (it's a technical term, write that one down, son).

I would only go to Michael. Only ever heard good things :)

Haha we should have a swap! I'm afraid it will make it impossible for me to hold back on mods but thats your motive isn't it?!

Keeeen as for a CC run :)
