has anyone used these?

Picked a set up new from ebay for a steal ($125) to use in the front doors. i was wondering if anyone has used a set?

Will be running from an audison LRX2.250 amp at 120WRMS per side.

ok.. i bought some of these from ebay seller stoxonline.

aka ryderjohn audio aka true soundsystems.

they state they are WA based, the parcel was mail redirected from sydney, but came from a bulk shipping UPS shipment from malaysia. The seller is based in Malaysia and the speakers are made in Pakistan im told..

they are fakes. terrible fakes.

I spoke to John at customcar sound who is the JL authorised rep for ACT/NSW, he advised these speakers were last made in 2004, and the ebay ones are all fakes. Ive sent loads of info to him and JL will be persuing it from their end. Ebay are going to review the seller, and the seller coughed up a full refund within 2 hours of me emailing him. The seller knows damn well these are fakes.. O well, i now have a set of fake JL speakers. not sure how they sound yet, will try em out, cant be worse than the oem speakers im using at the moment..

Interesting. Hope you get it sorted mate. Unfortunately most 'genuine' products found on ebay are fakes.

the seller has already refunded me, and pleaded not to leave negative feedback. therefore, i will leave negative feedback because others need to know.

LOL.. they are not bad copies.. but we will see. might install the woofers and see what they sound like.. i already have focal tweeters and crossovers so ill keep them, they are known quality.

ill update soon when ive tried em out..
