I am too scared to pull mine off to see the same thing. It is common on B4's apparently, especially when using too thin an oil. The top mount acts like a catch can. It can either be blowby from the rings, or a turbo seal.

That is a fair amount of oil there though lol, will be interesting to see peoples responses. Does you car go through oil? Mine doesn't change oil level wise. Do you get a puff of smoke on a cold start? Just a quick burn off?

^^^ yep catch can^^^

and clean your pipes out...than put a cup of petrol in your cooler, cap the ends and swish it around to remove the oil (do this a couple times) your cooler will work heaps better without the oil, as the oil acts as a barrier

Be sure to let the petrol dry out thoroughly better re-installing ;)

Ahh...for a B4 i dunno? I used a 4 port hyperflow which was good....but i know use a grimmspeed AOS which uses 2 lines in from the head and positive crankcase vent v/v and one out back to the intake

A 4 port seems better as the factory used 2 vent lines into the intake and so would the 4 port
