Hey guys and girls. A few mates and I are currently planning a trip around Australia in the next couple of years.
Anyway, we are currently trying to think of places we would like to check out and experience. So any suggestions on where to go and why would be greatly appreciated :D
Any other tips/suggestions about road tripping wouldn't go astray either.

Tidal river campground at Wilsons Prom. National Park here in Vic.
Top campsite, great beach and river plus plenty of bushwalking. Also has a shop and outdoor cinema.





Kangaroo Island in SA.
Take your car on the ferry to get there.
You can camp on the far side of the island (Nat Park) or stay in the towns and do the 'touristy' stuff.

I'm a huge fan of the Koziusko national park/snowy mountains area. But I'm not massively travelled. It's just my slice of heaven. Summer or winter!

What sort of things are you hoping to see? Natural shit and shit?

South-west WA is a must see.

Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

Yeah, anything that's interesting I guess. Looking at Whitsundays etc

I have Margaret River on the list after visiting it a few years ago with my parents.
We are more interested in natural beauty. We will be travelling and working as we go, so have to try and keep that in mind as we go.

Canberra

-Fyshwick, for all the Adult stores, brothels and strip clubs. Word on the street is at One place you can get a smoko pack consisting of a blowjob, a beer and a toasted sandwhich for $70 :)


-Cotter Dam/Recreation area, its a nice place to see, however its recently getting upgraded (the past 3 years) but brindabella road is there and is the best twisty road in canberra

-Tidbinbilla space tracking station, while your at the cotter, zip down paddys river road (more twistys) and look at the massive Space Dish.

Aek- more chasing natural spots and places to see. I have been to a few of these places though :)
Nik- definitely part of the plan is to visit the grove. If I can plan it right, might even be there for an MDSC if it still running when the trip begins...won't be in a suby though I dare say.
Lance- I like the sound of the smoko deal haha ;P ill be sure to check out those places further. Don't think the twisties will be a huge amount of fun in a loaded up Ute/wagon but still.

There’s so much good stuff to do see around Australia and hard to see it all as the coast and inland areas all hold different things that are worth seeing

Yeah, won't be able to see it all at once. Just chasing some spots people have experienced and loved. I even have a list at work :P

I travelled aus for 8 years with the parents

I have quite literally been everywhere man :P
even the less that exciting places.. "Cobar" anyone? lol

gotta say, i think my fav costal area would have to be Coffs.

i have photos at almost every "Big" thing..

If you're after natural attractions Tasmania definitely has to be on the list. I spent a week touring around it a couple of years ago and it was no where near enough time. Could have easily spent 3 or 4 weeks I reackon. Combined with Koziusko would have to be some of the best spots for extended bushwalking in the country. And it's all so unique compared to the rest of the place.

Yeah, definitely going to spend a bit of time in Tas. Went there a few years ago with my sister and parents travelling for about a week. It was all very rushed but there are a few things I want to see.

Hey guys, still chasing some places to go check out if you have any suggestions.

Also wondering what peoples thoughts are on the vehicle. It will be for 2 of us (another car if more). We want to take kayaks/pushbikes etc for some fun. We are open to taking a trailer for a few things if needed. Has anyone travelled in a certain type of car (sedan/wagon/4wd/ute) etc and have any suggestions?
