Hi guys I am the owner of a 2002 B4 liberty

The waste gate in the second turbo is apparently buggered and I need a replacement or a new turbo... My mechanic has been searching but to no avail. He has found someone that will rebuild the turbo for 2.5k or Subaru will redo the turbo for 5.5k

Part numbers are as follows

Vf32 0205
13 099e
14409aa060

Was also wondering if it would be cheaper to look at getting a single conversion?

Thanks for any help :)

I'm sure some people would have a second hand turbo on here to help you out!

is it the pneumatic actuator thats buggered, or the actual valve itself?
You should be able to find replacements cheap as, plenty of people have done single conversions, so there must be heaps of these parts sitting around in peoples sheds

Just buy a second hand turbo for a few hundred dollars.off ebay or through the classifieds. 2.5K is a joke!

I have a set of spares if you like (32/33). I would prefer to sell them as a set though, because single turbos from a set are hard to move. Does 350 + postage sound outrageous for the set? I have some older photos if you want, from when I was trying to sell everything.

Let me know.

MY00 Red RX, a nice daily that was sold off once the B4 became reliable...
MY02 Blue B4, aka 'The Project' - v8 JDM STi engine package and assorted other 'goodies' - Sold, then bought back for parts. Stripped and crushed.
MY03 Blue RX, the newer old daily, pretty well more B4 than RX now... In the process of being converted to the track toy... Watch this space!
MY02 Silver Wagon, H6 conversion, full blue/black leather and almost full black interior to go with it. In process of being stripped and sold off.
MY03 White/Silver H6 Outback, donor car for silver waghoon. Scrapped.
MY97 Silver RX, acquired to become track car, but plans changed. Scrapped.

MY13 BRG, current daily, very nice to drive, small mods to make it even nicer again.

i assume you mean exhaust control valve? this is completely separate from the turbo and can be replaced separately, they are common to fail, 99% sure they are available new from subaru separate from the turbo for about $700 ( still a scam) or a set of turbo's should come with one. best of luck, Ben.
