Hey guys i was just curious with the specs on a 2003 liberty STi, i was doing abit of searching on the net and came past of what i think is Shazza'a Liberty wagon in progress, would it be similar specs to that..

Do you think it would be worth buying sti seats and other comforts to a standard liberty gen 3 RX, would it be more hassle and money into the car that the profit to be made?. I was seriuosly considering selling it at the end of this year for a subaru imprezza, clubspec evo7, but it will need to be delayed till i have the funds. Not sure if i should be investing money into this car or just saving it for later down the track. cheers George

It depends on what you want out of either car?

You wont be making any profit converting the Lib unless you do most of the work yourself (if your lucky)

If your thinking seriously about buying the Rex then do it...

This website will allow you to SELL your car and BUY one with a turbo for less monies than it would cost you to convert yours.

Cheers random new friend!

This can be done with basic hand tools right?
The thing is, all I own is a hammer. I hope this is all that is needed to complete the install.

Sell your car now, buy a pushbike and put the rest in a high interest savings account.

Any money you spend on seats etc will be purely wasted if you're already thinking about selling the car.

I would have gone to the kitchen, collected a brown bag, dropped my dacks, pinched off a loaf in said bag, done up dacks, stickytaped bag, placed bag in envelope, and mailed it right to your face for being such a tool.

It's ok, sometimes when we herp, we also derp.

Waltsface, You can put a 3L H6 into a FWD Gen 2 using only your hammer and business shirts.

Hey Walts, welcome!!, hope that you will enjoy sharing info as much as the rest of us, and take pride in the Subaru name and enjoy:)

Haha yeh, well i suppose i have the bicycle already, even better, lol. Yer im thinking another car is abit distant away, yet, i shouldn't be rushing into things before considering the big picture, dont wanna go all out on a car and not afford to eat or have petrol, slowly but surely ill get to the end!

So now the goal is to keep the car, make it comfortable but dont overspend, and dont go crazy with un-necessary things, then once i get the funds required, all steam ahead!
Cheers guys!
