They probably used an impact wrench to get the lugs off and on. I have the same lug nuts and when I used an impact wrench they looked the same as yours do now. Should ask them to only use a socket wrench.

I can't help with advice, but you may get more responses if you aren't so lazy and just copy and paste the whole post into here.
Advice noted....haha yeah probably would have been the way to go form the start.
Hi all,
So when I purchased my rims approx. 2 years ago they came with galvanised lug nuts, and over time the inside of them got worn out and whenever it rained rust will run out of them. So I purchased these;
http://www.ebay.com....=item3cb0ce6c45
I put them on my car last Monday, everything was fine until I got my car back from Subaru service centre yesterday and all lug nuts were bashed and chipped.
Old ones
New Ones
After Service
Subaru have agreed to replace the lug nuts and my question is do I just purchase the same ones or are there other ones I should get instead.
Cheers,
Chris

give me some advice.
Don't buy internal drive lug nuts.
Use a torque wrench or a torque stick on a rattle gun.

Have you put any more thought into squeezing some more power out of the engine. Like strapping on one of those intake fans

I've had so many of those shitty eBay spec jobs and they all end up failing in some way or other. The last set I had destroyed my studs so I swore to invest in some quality ones

never use a rattle gun on wheel nuts
My wheel nuts love the rattle gun.

Because not aluminum.

McGard or Muteki. My two choices. Internal hex nuts and cheap Ebay ones steer clear of.

I work at a car dealership, it has really opened my eyes.

Yeah it is happy days they are getting replaced but it still gets me cut that this happened in the first place and makes me wonder what else happens to my car while they have it, not to mention that someone either in service or from the paint department scratched the inside widow frame of my passenger door and simply tried to cover it up with a paint brush stroke and no one has taken ownership of it.

You are exactly right..
If you are sure that your car has been damaged, just persist. You will eventually get a result.
You may need to speak to someone higher at the dealership.

Locate by hand, spin on with gun, but stop once it starts impacting. Tighten with torque wrench.
Still much faster than straight by hand, and does not destroy nuts or studs.
MY00 Red RX, a nice daily that was sold off once the B4 became reliable...
MY02 Blue B4, aka 'The Project' - v8 JDM STi engine package and assorted other 'goodies' - Sold, then bought back for parts. Stripped and crushed.
MY03 Blue RX, the newer old daily, pretty well more B4 than RX now... In the process of being converted to the track toy... Watch this space!
MY02 Silver Wagon, H6 conversion, full blue/black leather and almost full black interior to go with it.
MY03 White/Silver H6 Outback, donor car for silver waghoon.
MY97 Silver RX, acquired to become track car, but plans changed. To be stripped and scrapped in time.
