Hi,
I recently had a go at replacing & installing a aftermarket headunit into my 2003 Subaru Impreza RX, After I had everything working & brackets aligned I went to put the unit back into the console. There were wires that were in the way so I gave them a push to the side. After having everything back into place the headunit did not have power? and the digital clock that sits in the dash did not work either.
I've checked the fuse on the headunit and in the fuse box but everything was fine, so I believe it must be a wire that I have pulled when i went to move the wires over. My options are now to try and trace the problem my self or have an auto electrician have a look at it. But any help as to why this could be, would be greatly appreciated.
I don't think I was ever made to do electrical stuff even though this would be one of the easiest DIYs to do haha.
Thanks

Have you check you haven't shorted out the cables when you pushed them to one side and blown the fuse that's on the actual head unit?
