Update..........

A few minor cosmetic changes to clean it up. All part of my plan. :D

I replaced all 4 windows due to varying degrees of scoring on the glass. Went through an import wreckers here and found 4 virtually unmarked windows. I removed and cleaned all window guides and outer weather strips. On the drivers door i replaced all the guides and the outside weatherstrip. I also removed the tint off the rear cargo area windows.

The GT was optioned from the factory with a rear "air purifier"! All this did was take up space and add weight. As the roof lining is 2 pieces to accomodate it, i had to replace the roof lining with a standard 1 piece item.

While i had the roof lining off it was a good time to get the small dent out of the roof and also 1 on the top off the tailgate. My PDR guy came out but i had to remove the tailgate for him to access the roof dent. Alot of work for 2 dents, but it was worth it as its now perfect. It was also a good chance to pull the roof rails off and polish the roof.

Posted Image

Added some clear GTB courtesy light lenses to the doors (GT are red) and some white led festoon globes.

Posted Image

Slowly getting my list of 'things to do" marked off. :D

This car is so clean I can't look at mine anymore.

Opened up the airbox inlet today. It had been attacked previously to open it up, i cleaned that up when i go the GT, but wanted it larger and actually only sucking air from inside the guard.

I got a 100mm galvanised downpipe adapter from Bunnings for $4.50, marked and cut the airbox (bit by bit) for a very snug fit, then attatched this to the engine bay.

Its now gone from about 85mm up to 100mm for the inlet size. Now just to clean up some of the small panel bits protruding into the inlet opening and cover all other holes in the panel to shield from any engine heat.
