Hi guys.

So my Gen 4 liberty is often making a metallic rattle when under load or when coming back down in revs from about 2000rpm and down. I am fairly sure it is the heat shield around the exhaust but would like to know if anyone else has had this issue? and how should I go about fixing it?
Thanks :)

That's most probably it man. Get yourself under there, tighten whatever feels loose and go from there. It'll definitely be the easiest option and you won't have to worry at all if the sound is gone. ;)

Wanting to buy/looking for: single genuine STi rim, genuine STi front lip, Corazon or Zero/Sports grille and another OEM grille

Can you hook a brother up? Please contact me now. I have cash ready.

often if its a heat shield a weld has cracked or you've snapped a tab off. easy enough to re-weld or remove the heat shield all together depending on which one it is.

I had this issue back in march this year, tried tightening it multiple times but ended up removing it all together. After that no more rattles.
