I'll be getting one today hopefully
It holds 6psi all the way thro the range.

Could it be at all possible that it's in a limp mode?

Yeh - the waste gate will work regardless of single or twin mode. Sounds like a limp mode or no wdc

No check engine lights?

I do, but we reprogrammed it and still didn't go away. So we thought it as a fix later problem as the car is running. Plus the car I was using needed to go back. Also the ABS light I on too. Now that I'm saying that I feel kinda stupid haha. Nothing came up on the computer for a problem tho. Any idea on a stock tune this should have? 2003 gen 3 bh it was. It's what we put in for the program tho.

If the check engine light is up I'd be putting money on there being a stored code in there, and it'll be running in limp mode, which means bugga all boost.

MY00 Red RX, a nice daily that was sold off once the B4 became reliable...
MY02 Blue B4, aka 'The Project' - v8 JDM STi engine package and assorted other 'goodies' - Sold, then bought back for parts. Stripped and crushed.
MY03 Blue RX, the newer old daily, pretty well more B4 than RX now... In the process of being converted to the track toy... Watch this space!
MY02 Silver Wagon, H6 conversion, full blue/black leather and almost full black interior to go with it.
MY03 White/Silver H6 Outback, donor car for silver waghoon.
MY97 Silver RX, acquired to become track car, but plans changed. To be stripped and scrapped in time.

All put back together and I'm so happy with the way it looks.
Metal finish dash instead of the wood grain.
Momo steering wheel
Blackout dash
Sti pedals witch I have to finish putting in
But love it all feels like a new car

Got down to Melbourne to get my new bonnet of Mark, cheers again man. And the above is the very in hack job of duct tape and an angle grinder topped of with a boost gauge tec screwed to the bonnet for extra bogan points. So glad to have it off the car.

And lastly is the sexy as one I have now that still needs a paint but looks a hell of a lot better even tho it is the wrong colour atm.

Passenger fender near the vacuum tank - put it into solenoid click mode (plugs under dash) and make sure its working. Spray carb cleaner through it anyway

Found the solenoid in the quater just behind the battery in the quater panal. Still looking for the switch under the dash for the click mode. But what am I to listen or look for to see if it's working? And is wd40 ok insted of carb cleaner? Also where do I spray it haha

I believe click mode is connect the two green plugs under the steering wheel together and turn the car on but not start it. The plugs are single wire and should be pretty obvious once you get your head under the dash. It may be different on a TT/gen 3 but someone will know

haha no worries, just thought I would ask to save a trip into town. Wouldn't have do e it of nobody said it was ok.

So if it's clicking it must be working, anything els I can do or take a panel of and spray down all the holes coz it might still be gumming up?

Check all the way back down the two vac lines going to it. Just blow down one while clicking and verify its turning on and off properly and not leaking or blocked. Blow carb cleaner through the solenoid and both lines. Watch for any pills (check tt notes, but I don't recall any in those lines)
