Hey all.

Just looking into upgrading my engine and gearbox mounts.

I currently have a bit of slack in the drive line when coming on and off the throttle.

My thoughts are either the engine or gearbox mounts or maybe a uni-joint in the drive shaft.

What are your thoughts/experiences on upgrading these mounts?

Any other helpful suggestions.

Ian.

Can't go past STI Group-N mounts. OEM fitment and well priced.
Engine,Trans and pitch stop.

Check your tailshaft for play.

Prospeed racing sell hardrace mounts which are Group N part number on them and about $20 cheaper than group N for the same thing

Wolf Racing sell Group N i got my gearbox mount from them.

Car Mods Australia Sell Group N (have free shipping over $250 until christmas)

Entra Imports sell Group N

im sure you can make a decision form all of those options :)

i can't recommend the Grop N gearbox mount enough reduced the clunk under hard acceleration considerably

All early ej20 and ej25 engines use the same mounts and pitch stops

Just the tranny mounts are 5 or 6 speed dependant

And for the rear end stuff get gc8 gear yep

I just ordered the Hardrace kit, engine mounts, gearbox mount and pitchstop.

Hopefully it arrives soon so I can fit it all up over the Christmas new year break.

I bought directly from Hardrace, they were cheaper than Prospeed.

$275 for engine, gearbox & pitch stop.

Sweet cheers for that I just went to Prospeed they are $295, but was going to buy them later but might buy them so I can fit it all in the week off over Christmas. I just bought braided brake lines.
