All good, thanks for everybody's inputs! I listened to the earlier comments and ended up ditching this plan... Will be keeping my eyes peeled for a half cut 
And just for the record, I only toyed with the idea because I had a spare motor lying around. If I'm going to buy a motor for the project - then yes the choice is obvious
