As the topic says. Just a quick question. I can't be bothered jacking the car up and I am stupid . Does my engine have an in radiator oil cooler? I've also heard some rumours of it having no cooler at all. Thinking of an external. Cheers.

No, but if you go to a manual gearbox you can use the portion of the radiator used for a transmission cooler for your engine oil...

Hmmm. nice idea actually Paul.
B4's have a std Oil Cooler... its farking useless and not a real cooler either, all it is, is a pipe that runs across the front of the engine from above the oil filter

As I told you Rob, my GT has a radiator fed cooler block around the oil filter. Yours will be the same. No point really for anything extra.
If you want to fit a trans cooler, come down and i'll help you do it.

There is no oil cooler on my ej20h. I had a good look. But the tranny cooler job took no time. Within 20 secs of me restarting it the cooler was warm so success. I usually suck at mods. Next job, intercooler and hoses.

Damn?! yours doesnt have the sandwich plate cooler then on the oil filter? Trans Cooler will do the job til the V3 STi box goes in.
