So today I thought I'd stop being lazy and actually do something with my holidays.

So.. I restored my headlights from the yellow filth that they looked like.
Followed a previous thread on here about removing and cleaning the air con filter in my car. So done that and again got rid of all the clogged up dust and random leaves floating about inside.

And last but not least I thought I'd try this design. Basically just vinyl wrapped the trim with this camo print and its safe to say I'm in love with it haha. Took a while and I admit the quality of work isn't the best. But I guess there's a first for everything haha.

Big improvement with the lights.  Even though the camo is not something I would do, it looks good man.  I like it.

Im actually a fan of the camo.

Would look good using Hydrographics.

Vinyl wrapping is OK until you get a few hot days with heat build up inside your car.

Hahaha that vinyl wrap is hilarious, in a good way. Yeah it's a hard thing to get right, easier with a hairdryer and some tools to ensure no air bubbles, but having used on a few things on my old car I can mirror Mark's comments and say it has a propensity to bubble and wrinkle, especially if left in the sun. It's good for a bit of fun though.

Are you thinking of doing door trim in same wrap as well?

Yeah using the right tools helps, just perfecting it takes some time haha. But yeah, already took the heat into consideration and just fingers crossed nothing dramatic happens.

Camo>woodgrain!

Umm, I don't really know to be honest, I don't think I would I just like the way it replaces the old style look of the interior.

Just thought I'd add a couple of quick pictures of the car, just to give an idea of how it rolls. ;) !

Hairdryer and eucalyptus oil is pretty good at melting away the glue that's holding the badge there.

Do you have yellow fog light lenses or is it just the camera?

Hairdryer to soften and then fishing line to cut the tape / adhesive.

Yeah fog lights are wrapped yellow. Sorta don't like it anymore. Might be getting rid of it soon.
