Hey guys & girls,

I am running a completely stock 03 Liberty 2.5L and I was wanting to slowly start sinking some money into my baby. I was thinking just some springs & rims + tyres.

Can anyone else give me some advice/ photos on some of your projects to help me on my way?

PK

Yeah, like Adam said, the Gen 3 Liberty is probably the most common vehicle on this forum, and therefore a whole swag of ideas are there for you to look at, good and bad.

Also trawl the For Sale section for 2nd hand suspension and wheels.

There's also an Intro section at the top of the forum page for you to put up some info and photos about yourself and your car.

Car could be a gen 4 ????

As above, it's all good advise from some of our move senior members.

Power upgrades are pointless with the N/A models. Don't even waste your time/money. Handling and looks are where you want to spend. Coilovers or new STi springs on bilstien shocks is the first option. Next is sway bars and anti lift kits, then braces and anything else. Don't skimp on tyres. If you change wheels, go the widest you can fit, while still maintaining decent tyre fitment. The more tread on the road, the more grip. Next up would be brakes. Basically anything from gen 4 GT brakes to Brembos. Depends on how much money you are willing to throw at her.

MY00 Red RX, a nice daily that was sold off once the B4 became reliable...
MY02 Blue B4, aka 'The Project' - v8 JDM STi engine package and assorted other 'goodies' - Sold, then bought back for parts. Stripped and crushed.
MY03 Blue RX, the newer old daily, pretty well more B4 than RX now... In the process of being converted to the track toy... Watch this space!
MY02 Silver Wagon, H6 conversion, full blue/black leather and almost full black interior to go with it.
MY03 White/Silver H6 Outback, donor car for silver waghoon.
MY97 Silver RX, acquired to become track car, but plans changed. To be stripped and scrapped in time.
