Nope won't fit

You need either gen 2 specific suspension
Or gd impreza

Be carful with gd springs on gen 2 struts as the seat may Not be right

Hmmmm what do you think would be good, slight upgrade from stock but not too expensive?

Gen2 Bilsteins have a 20mm higher spring perch than normal Gen2 struts. Any aftermarket springs available in Australia will be made to suit the standard strut and will be firmer as compressed more if fitted to Bilsteins. If your struts are old, just get some new KYB Excel G struts and King lows.

I did not know this. Interesting. Explains how Ty has impreza springs on his as my STi struts had a high spring perch as well
