I have used Turtle Wax "Jet Black" with good results. Has lasted over 10 months so far. Try that out first.

Scrubbed the dash with a scourer and soapy water. Let it dry. Masked up everything. Gave it several light coats. Made wife cranky for spending time in garage instead of entertaing her. Gave it several more coats. Pulled newspaper and tape down. Sat back and admired my ham-fisted abilities.
Holding up rather well at the moment. Needs a wipe down but as its started to get a bit of dust building up on it. In saying that, its not driven much due to a company work ute, and the wifes gen 4 is normally the grocery getter. Boobs bounce too much in my car. Hers and mine.
As soon as i mentioned 300kw I was in trouble
