Hi guys, car is 06 lib 3.0, the drivers seat motor that drives the seat base forwards and backwards has died, where is the best place to get another one? It's def the motor, I spent a fair part of my afternoon trouble shooting

I had the same issue.
It's probably just stuck brushes...
First do the technical tap: put seat back forward if possible, undo floor bolts for seat mount, tilt seat backwards and undo harness clips if required for access.
Locate the relevant motor under seat and give the metal motor body a few firm taps with a wood drift or big screwdriver handle. Don't hit hard enough to dent the metal body.
Test motor by plugging back in or connect 12v power.
If that didn't work then remove motor, remove the cover with 3x screws and clean all the graphite dust from the inside the motor, lube and check or replace the brushes.
They can be tricky to reassemble as the brushes want to get in the way, in that case I made a holder from a paperclip to help.
I can help do this if you're in Melb
