Hi i purchased a my02 b4 sedan off an older guy who told me he upgraded to gen4 bilsteins front and rear.
Trouble is that there was a big knock noise so when i had a look the spring doesnt sit in top hat properly.
when i asked him he said he used b4 top hats.
My question what spring would i need to use to sit in b4 top hat but bottom seat on gen4 bilsteins?
What is needed to make gen 4s bolt in if possible?ie elongate bolt holes?

Just replace the fronts with Gen3 specific springs.
