April;
1st: April Fools Day - dating back to the late 1500s April Fools day originates out of the change of the New Year from end of March to the start of January, not everyone got the memo so those who celebrated New Years in March, 1582 looked like fools.
25th: It's now the 100th Anniversary of Gallipoli. Contrary to popular Australian opinion, the Brits didn't have the wrong landing spot, in fact we would have been farked anywhere we landed. The main cause of the failed campaign was that on the first day the inexperienced infantry officers did not want to capitalise on their momentum and push too far in land, not much land was gained during the rest of the campaign due to this. Doubt my facts? Go on, argue military history with me, I dare you.
Also it's the 39th birthday for Apple Computers, which was formed out of a garage in California, if one looks really closely at their Apple products they can still see evidence of it being made in a garage.
Have to rethink this.
