Hey guys I've got a Gen 3 Outback and I have Liberty rims for it that has an offset of 55mm, where as the Outback offset is 48mm. I know spacers are illegal in Victoria but is it the only option I have to fill in the wheel well without having to buy Forester rims? Just some food for thought.

Cheers, Chris.

Short of buying wider/lower offset wheels spacers are your only option.

Yeah I've just been talking to Hypnotic about it and he's told me to see how it looks without spacers when the 17s are back on and it is lowered and decide from there..

Hey Chris,

The difference between 48 & 55 mm offset is stuff all.

What Ash & Nick have said above is sound advise.

If you want that flush look I think you might be after new wheels.

Thanks Beckers, I might run the lib wheels for a few months then think about shopping for forester wheels.

That looks good! Like I said I'll see what it looks like once it's lowered and I have the wheels back on with new rubber :)

With those it only rubs on full lock as I know someone running the same setup
