Hi guys, this is my RX build... if you can call it a build.

I got it for a really sweet deal, with 157,000 Kms. If you want to see how I got it, you can click the link below. I also talk about my car owning history. http://www.subyclub..../10679-hi-guys/

I'm not really doing much on it as far as mechanical mods at the moment, though that may change if I ever get some decent money saved.

What's been done so far:

- Air conditioning re-gassed

- Headlights polished - they were looking a bit foggy.

- Head unit put in
- dash parts painted

To be done soon:
- Just bought some cheap wheels (18" Lenso), which need a little bit of work- new tires for 2 and one needs buckle fixed.

- Got some new brakes, because my brother burned out my old ones driving down a fairly steep and windy road.

- xenon 4200K head lamp bulbs

- Front grill swap (I don't really like the chrome one, so I'm getting a honeycomb).

Future plans:
- Lower, possibly coilovers

- JDM front bumper

- Exhaust

Got the wrong bulbs, so I have to wait for the right ones.

Good work getting stuck into the DIYs.

What grille are you going for?

I have a rev D-E honeycomb grill if you're interested.
Great work on paint job. I thought they were genuine B4 at first.

Cheers, I figure while I don't have much money, there's still little things I can do. I like the look of this one (didn't like the deep version of it). found one in good condition at a wreckers. The guy said $60, but I'm going to try get it for 30.

This is why I asked ;)

It's not going to fit. You have to find a Rev A-C grille (99-01). The one above is a Rev D-E (02-03).

I can't think of any factory mesh grilles for your model which is why I assumed you'd be going for the wrong one. There may be some aftermarket options or you'll have to hack up your current one.

Walkers won't fit yours and is the same as the revision D one in the picture you posted.

Neither will fit your car.

Thanks! It's a fun thing to do, and it's not that expensive (cost me like $35 including prep supplies and paint)

Oh that sucks! I've have a look at what aftermarket stuff I can find for rev a-c, and I don't really like any of them. I might just repaint mine black. Thanks for the heads up!

The easiest way to tell the difference is on the head light's. As yours (a/c) has the indicator top to bottom and the d-e has the single globe billet style. There is a few other ways to tell the difference if parts are off the car. As in a-c grills are more rounded in the bottom corners and the d-e ones are pointed. (Might have to look at doing a post if there isn't one to link people too to tell all the differences)

But as mesh grills go you could look at going this one, pricey but rare as  :fork:

Unfortunately they are not the actual pedals, just covers. They came with the car, so I'm not sure about brand or anything.

So unfortunately I have put my RX up for sale :'( I need the money at the moment, and my old car wasn't selling.
I will be saving up to hopefully buy a B4 in the not too distant future if life permits!
