hey does anyone have the tool for the front diff seal retainers (preload adjusters)

 

I could borrow over a wknd

 

 

near macarthur or close to bella vista (work)

Ive always just marked its postion against the housing and put it back in the same spot. Never had an issue.

Ohh yeh im cool doing that part just actually taking them off i dont wanna do the screwdriver snd hammer and chip the cast alloy edges

I used a punch and hammer, didn't chip anything. Soak with inox first. And if they are leaking anyway, the thread should be lubed up :P

If the o-rings are worn they usually just spin out

Ive got a new set of seals and O rings ready to go as a preventative measure when I do the fluid change before HVC.

Yep same here doing that and trans sump cos i have a stupid cork gasket :/ . But new trans so winning for hvc :)
