nope... unless you saw a 'you've just been camera'd ' sign after the car.
Don't you know you need to lock up the brakes and slow when alongside ?

I slammed them on pretty hard but was probably still going 10 over when I actually passed him. But it was just him on the side of a blind corner didn't look like he had the laser out or anything.
Don't they have cameras on them for photo evidence as well?

also its a licence suspendable offence so the rms will suspend it anyway.
Fixed and mobile speed cameras are different legislation thats why they can issue them to the registered owner.
Have you put any more thought into squeezing some more power out of the engine. Like strapping on one of those intake fans

yeh they may have (though I've never seen a HWP with a camera setup) - but my point is in NSW at least, they can't use a fixed or mobile speed camera without placing signs about 100m before and after the camera. No signs, no fine.
.. as others have pointed out, if there's no camera, they need to pull you over and identify you.. and you have the right to see the radar reading/printout
Lack of any of these things would have a fine in the mail tossed out if taken to court.

Maybe take this as a lesson not to be doing 30km over the limit?
If it was in vic you'd probably have your car impounded. Especially if you were within cooee of Bendigo where the cops pride themselves on their inflated stats for "hoon offences"...
While I do like to hear about people dodging a fine it makes me angry when they're blaightently speeding well over the limit. A little over with moving in "the flow of the traffic" I have no issue with.
I hope you get off and learn a valuable lesson in the process.
Cheers
