Hey guys,

Just looking for some advice - I need to replace my rotors pretty soon. What would you guys suggest? I know there is a lot of brands that make "OEM spec" discs - good ones? Bad ones? Ones to avoid? Or is genuine the way to go? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Ben

Sorry forgot to mention in the post, car is 2000 Outback

All rotors sold here must meet Australian standards. On a standard Gen3 Outback there is no need for anything fancy.

Protex, RDA, ADB, etc are all low cost options that will meet your requirements.

I bought some RDA dimpled and grooved brake discs from RDA directly some time ago. They were surprisingly cheaper than I thought and have done nothing but perform to expectation as long as they've been installed. Definitely a good option in my opinion and will be more than enough for a standard Gen III as Mark has mentioned.

I cannot remember exactly how much I paid, but if you're interested, I could try and find the invoice. Gen III brake discs would likely be cheaper too.

Like most things, everything works better when installed.
