Hey

So I thought i'd start a build thread.

Thanks mate yeh probably start recognising a lot more cars on the road now I'm on here. Are there a few on the coast?
Some people reckon they couldn't live with the noise everyday but it's music to my ears.

You should definitely do it. Pretty cheap these days too!
Yeh when I was in the market for it I was just after the right car regardless of colour. I wasn't even that into the red but have grown to love it. It almost looks like it has a gold through it in the sun

I've tossing the idea of selling the Lib and getting one as I love the shape and whenever I see one is mint cond. it makes me think of it all over again.

I don't even mean for it but all my cars have been some shade of red except for when I got the missus a Rio Latte Micra before the Red GTI. And now my bike is orange which is still kinda close haha.

Keep up the good work, I just wish my Libs paint looked this good.

^ GC8 interior is way tinier than Gen 3 interior, so think about that first if you log long trips on the car. But can't blame you for wanting one of these little babies.

I like those wheels, and the colour. I'm not sold on the bonnet though. I think GC8's look sweetest when looking original. But other than the bonnet you've been quite restrained in your styling, which is good.

Would be too difficult to colour match the bonnet due to age I presume. What happened to the original? Or did you just paint it?

The paint on the original bonnet was pretty rough, the one on there now is carbon fibre. I plan on adding a few more carbon pieces and keep the red and black thing going.
Your definitely right about the interior nothing exciting here.

So I was stopped behind a car waiting to turn right when someone ran up the back of me last month. I have a few pictures of the damage luckily it was repaired however being a red car the paint had faded so the freshly painted rear now looks very different to the front of the car. So looks like i'm going to have to get the roof and round the front re-sprayed to match will be nice to have it done but not something I was planning on spending coin on  :dash2:
