Just looking for some info and general is for wrapping aftermarket headers+uppipe
Already decided to use the new style 'titanium' or 'vulcan' wrap

About to put a set of headers on, not to worried about the most likely minimal performance gains, but I was worried about the added heat that unprotected headers are gonna add... don't wanna overheat or melt anything important

First questions:
approximately how much will I need, 15m or should I bite the bullet and get 30m

1" or 2" (in my experience taping hockey sticks, thinner was better, but obviously doesn't go as far, same for heat wrap?

Wet it first?

And last of all
Is there any difference between buying from Australia and buying from Hong Kong? Is it all the same shit?
Mostly I've found you get what you pay for
($20 difference for a 15m roll)

Also if anyone has any extra tips I should know

Cheers guys

Get 30m worth and wrap your dump pipe and up pipe too.

You wont melt anything Important. The O2 sensors are designed to be in high heat and the wrap protects everything else by keeping the heat in.

I orded some from hong kong and it has worked great for 2+yrs.

You dont need to wet the newer style wrap, it tells you on the packaging as well.

Awesome man, thanks!
And 1"?
Or 2"
I'm starting to think 1 of each, 1" for the single finicky shit and 2" for the dump and up?
