For the last 8 months I have been driving a gen 1 liberty sedan and have loved the car for what it is, drove it at HVC15 and had an awesome day but by the end of it I was sure I wanted to upgrade to a turbo car as soon as I got my green p's which would allow to me drive manual.

Picture of former car:

I was looking at GT foresters and my friend stumbled across one which was local to me, clean looking, relatively low kms (134,000) and had a few tasteful mods. After looking I was sure this was the car for me so I got a fair price and drove it home.

Current mods

Engine:

Stock engine with TD04L Turbo

3" MRT turbo back exhaust

Gfb Mach 2 recirculating valve

GC8 STi top mount intercoooler

In-guard PVC CAI

Oil drain valve

Intercooler water sprayer

Walbro fuel pump

Blue top feed injectors

Silicone intake pipe

Drivetrain:

Stock 5 speed

Heavy duty clutch

Suspension:

GD wrx wagon springs

STi front strut brace

Brakes:

Slotted rotors

STi braided lines

Interior:

Subaru Momo steering wheel with red stitching

Kenwood touch screen head unit with Bluetooth etc.

Defi control unit with Boost Gauge custom mount in ash tray

Interior bulbs replaced with LED's

Short Shifter

Exterior:

St/b front bumper and side skirts

Rear Aero Pods

STi fog light covers

STI rear tail lights

HID's

LED park lights

WRX 17's

Future plans

Wing (needs painting and installing)

Wheels

20mm rear sway bar

WRX Sports pedals

3 gauge pod with matching Defi's

VF30 and a retune

Scroll down for updated pics :)

Special thanks for the help with the car so far and in the future to Tim and Scotty.

Nice one mate.

I remember cruising back to the Beaches with you post-HVC. We were in the white Hyundai i30.

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.

Nice cars those white Series 2 GT foresters with c number plates ;)

Looks like its got some handy mods and nice low kms. There getting pretty hard to find that low, mine was around the same when I got it.

Still on P plates? If so be careful with engine mods.

Update: my list of things i wanted complete for the 27th is almost complete, along with a couple of extra small things. haven't had much time to update the thread so i thought i would just do it all at once.

Body kit:

picked up an st/b front bar with lip, st/b side skirts and rear bumper with aero pods from DCJapimports.com, has made the car look so much better and am very pleased with the result, the front end being my favourite part. The rear end is missing something i feel, but i have a wing which just needs painting so hopefully that completes it along with wheels with more offset. Also got some black STi fog light covers.

Suspension:

car has been lowered on GD Wrx wagon springs and i love the height it sits at now, much better than before and handles well also. STI braided brake lines where also added when the struts where changed.

Other bits and pieces:

picked up some STI tailights and will be installing them soon

Defi boost gauge and control box which will also be installed soon

GFB Mach 2 recirculating valve - much more discrete than the ugly blue one that was on their, and doesn't vent to atmosphere so not attracting as much attention.

Foz badge

Moved the HID ballasts to a more hidden place in the engine bay

roof racks removed

How it looks:

4opHr3r.jpg?1ROcvqJq.jpg?1dyWEOox.jpg?1Zo9QfRC.jpg?1

Future plans from here:

Possibly a vf30 and retune depending on funds and whether i feels its necessary.

Rear sway bar upgrade

Get the wing on

Install Defi system and source 3 other gauges + pod

install tail lights

new centre console trim

new rims with more offset, something like this:

Please let me know what you think :D and again thanks to Scotty and Tim for the help with the car, i absolutely love how its turned out.

If you want more offset I wouldn't bother with those wheels. They are +53 so not really any better than what you have atm.

Find something aftermarket for more offset to sit flush with the guards.

Other than that it's looking pretty tidy

Nice looks good, not a fan of the aero pods on the rear bar bu might look different with lower offset wheels to fill out the guards.

I have the wheels you mentioned above on my SF there is pics in my thread of it or this is how it sits with a 17X8 +50 (3mm spacer +53) 235/50/17

The car behind is Cams which is 18X8.5 +39 (3mm spacer +42) 235/45/18

Both have over 100mm clearance at lowest point on coilovers

To give you an idea on fitment

Both cars have rolled rear guards.

My car has front guard liners trimmed on the inside so it doesn't rub at lock.
