Hi,

This is a direct copy from the forum post on OzFoz and can be found here. Since I have done a few mods not on Forester I thought i'd start to document it. This is my second Subaru. My first was a GEN3 RX Liberty in Red Mica. I still have this car and it is still find it ultra reliable and comfortable albeit, slow.

My wife wanted a new car. She wanted a Forester. I said she can only get one if its turbo. Much to my surprise, she said OK. I bought this car off the original owner at the start of 2014 with 63000 KMs. Everything checked out so we bought it.

Hey, no worries.

Springs are great. Our roads in QLD are crappy so I opted for soft springs. They are the softest of all the aftermarket springs on the market, I think. Down the highway, it sits real nice and comfortable. The big sway bars keep it flat around corners. It still has the OE end links and so far they are holding up well. Having soft springs places more load on the endlinks when cornering. No noises. If they break, i'll upgrade them. It is a family car, so keep it tame. My eight year old is addicted to MCM and thinks i need to do a turbo swap. He is right. haha.

You bought my old rear sway, yeah?

Yeah on the RSB, fitting it next week.

I haven't ruled out STi conversion, but will wait till 150,00 mark (8-10 yrs away on my current mileage) have you seen that blue SH, Sleepr1 or something on the US forums?

Good to hear about springs, I was looking at them ages ago, just slack with mods.
