Hi

Trying to guage interest in a drag day

NSW WRX Club are looking at hosting a day at drags options are

Book some lanes for the Wednesday Night speed of street which is $60 ( spectators pay to enter ) 6pm to 10pm

or

Hire the track for a day which would involve having a number of cars split equally over cost, could cost more, but during day so could be better for people outside of Sydney, probably have more than 4 hours track time

Anyway please leave feed back to get an idea

Thanks

Neil

id be interested if it were a day time event on a weekend, personally getting down there from newcastle is too hard for me on a weeknight because of work.

they run drag events on sundays once a month and you can hire/book lanes then. we went last month and the HSV club had a lane booked and some other club had another

Hi agree

Weekend would be better, getting from Newcastle to WSID would be about 2 hours so you need to have a half day at work

I think this will be the better option, Thanks

I think racing starts at 6pm and scrutineering closes around 7pm on Wednesday night - that means you don't need a half day to get there from Newy, maybe just an early mark :)

I went recently and had 2 runs before 7pm. Place was crowded by then and the next 2 runs took twice as long.
