Those rims look better and less blingy too!

How many sets of rims are you up to now??

Cheers

Including stock, 5.   :sarcastic:

Hadnt seen this thread before but that front bar really does suit it. Keen to see the end result after cleaning up and painting the welded bits.
Latest rims look the goods too.
I like how you keep changing rims and the furthest it drives is from the garage to the driveway :)

Still got a bit to go on the bumper. Have to wait till I can fit the intercooler pipes on the front mount so I can work out exactly where to cut. Planning on running some flush mount LED lights in the holes. Will have them inset in the holes rather than mounted straight onto the front of the bumper. Have a plan on how to do it so hopefully works out.
If all goes to plan I will wire them off the fog light switch.
And also it's "the furthest it gets pushed*"  :sarcastic:

Cheers guys!

Also chucked the 4 pots on to see how they look.

They aren't on properly yet due to I still have to replace every bush under the car so everything has to come out and I don't want to scratch the caliper in the process.

I wish my RS engine was coming together like yours above... this year... this year... hopefully!

“I don’t want to scratch the caliper” - classic!

Cam seals all done. Pretty much just got clutch to go then it's just a few small things like engine mounts, getting the single mass flywheel machined etc for the motor to be dropped back in. I have the timing belt kit and new waterpump here ready to go on before it goes back in. Will probably sort the fuel system with the motor in the car. Thinking about going top feed injectors.

Alright guys! Picked up some new wheels for the foz! These ones will definitely be staying!! 18x9 +25 Cosmis MR7's (Work XT7 reps). Picked them up for a great price! Actually got them off the same bloke I got the XXR's off. Put Whiteline camber bolts on the rear. Will be doing the fronts as well today.

I have fixed this thread to get rid of the tinypic and photobucket photos you couldn't see. Some of them I couldnt find the proper photo so just did my best.

On a more serious note! It's time to finish this project! Got some GD WRX leather front seats off a mate! Love them!

Currently saving up for a clutch so as soon as I get that the motor can go back in then it's just small stuff from there! Keeeeeen!!!

Well, I thought it was about time I finally get this thing done! Gates timing belt kit done, much easier than I thought it would be.

Exedy OEM replacement clutch.

49889028517_2e63b92ba2_c.jpg

And shes in!

49888200643_64984929ae_c.jpg

Started rigging up the intercooler piping.

49888206903_dec349db19_c.jpg

Won't be able to start it for a few weeks due to rego being due on another car so have to pay that first before I can get the few other things needed.

Aaaaand she runs! Just need to finish off the intake and get an exhaust. Will be going Xforce TBE. Would love a Invidia exhaust but they are way out of my price range at the moment.

Here is an update for ya'll. She is all back together, Xforce TBE is on. Had a few issues with it which took a while to diagnose. There is still one thing that I have to fix up but she runs great now.

Looks good mate!

That front bar is very beefy, I like it a lot. Will you look into matching side skirts and rear bumper to tie it all in, or leave it as is?

Cheers

Well, as sad as it to write this. The foz has had a tap/knock ever since I first started it. It went away for a while there but now it's back and is pretty loud. I have pinpointed the sound to the drivers side head around cylinder 3. Sad times but I have decided to sell it, have something else in mind but sadly it is not Subaru!

Did you have a tear in your eye?

I’m yet to experience this for myself... dunno if I could ever do it.
