So i'm going to be installing new front clarion splits next weekend and was thinking about sound deadening some of the car. I want to hear a bit more on how other people have done it. How much does it help the speakers and noise inside the car? and what product you have used.

I am currently thinking of covering all the holes in the door panels and boot lid (since the boot lid is already apart to try and find a really annoying rattle) with the 1.8 sq/m pack from here http://www.carbuilde.../sound-deadener , is it enough? thanks in advance  :D

Yep, even just a little bit can make a massive difference. I have a couple of small sheets on the outter door skin and it improved the midbass dramatically.

I've used the Stinger roadkill, mainly because I was getting it cheap from work, Dynamat is another known brand people use, and even Jaycar have decent stuff. but there are plenty of other brands on the market.

I should just convert to single, right?

Only did the front doors as I don't run rear speakers, but yeah one sheet (can't remember the size) was enough for both sides for what I wanted at the time.
