Near the end of the 2014 season, Subaru Rally Ream USA achieved what they set out to do – win a global rally cross event. When the season came to an end the team had racked up five podiums, including two 2nd Place finishes and 3rd Place in the final event in Las Vegas.

Now past the half-way point in the 2015 season and having taken a step forward in raw speed, competition had exposed teething issues within the new car, forcing the team to regroup in preparation for the GRC Los Angeles. But the LA round is not just another race. It is an STI-sponsored double-header, over-and-under, make-it-or-break-it event, and the team has put everything on the line with no less than four Subaru’s competing.

With a promising start, Subaru Rally Team USA puts three cars into the finals on Day 1 of the Red Bull Global Rallycross double-header in Los Angeles. Day 2 dawns with another strong qualifying performance, but on-track battles leave the fan favourite, Travis Pastrana, nursing a damaged car back to the pits. The team rallies around him, fixing the car with just minutes to spare so he can carry the torch for the team into the Finals.
