how the F does one remove the inner CV joint from a gen 3  :( is there any clips or some shit holding it to the gear box?

Front or rear? Rear should just pop out of the diff with some leverage. Fronts have the split pin you need to punch out

With the fronts, remember to align the chamfer on the stub shaft and joint. If you get the shaft 180deg out, you will fork the roll pin when you try to bash it back in.
