any ideas on what you'd expect to pay for an aerosol can of subaru 51e from a paint shop?


 


I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.

Yeah I thought as much as well. I dunno, I just know the paint on my car is Subaru 51E, and the mirrors need that paint to match.

Google tells me mixed from a code is $27.50 and colour matched to sample is $37.50.

 

 

If you are always fiddling about painting stuff, a compressor and a touchup gun is well worth the investment IMO.

Yeah will prob get a compressor next year I reckon. 

 

Would love a rattle gun to make changing wheels easier.

I have a sneaking suspicion that the mrs has bought me a double din head unit w/ reverse camera for xmas.

 

I might bribe her into getting it a few days early by giving her her xmas presents early.

Funny you say that.

 

I used to be a firm believer that an air powered gun blitzes anything thing with a battery (I have a very good rattle gun) until I used my mates big battery gun. Fork me! The thing just about flips the car over and will do drive shaft nuts that an air gun cant with absolute ease.

His small gun is so much lighter than my air gun and has more grunt.

 

I'm converted.
