Very clean indeed. Good buy mate! Any short-term modification plans yet or are you happy with a stock turbo at the moment?

Thanks guys! :) 170k, I'm pretty happy with current turbo atm. Will wait until I'm off P's and have a bit more $$$ to burn haha. Short term plans include exhaust, wheels/tyres, swaybars, brake upgraded, 3 port BCS and tune. Will keep you posted :D

Got a VF30 sitting around... When I got pulled out with my old engine my mechanic said theres no shaft play but still might need a rebuild... From memory it was either the bearing or thrust plate that was a little loose...

Hows $350 sound considering it needs a rebuild?

Big plans for the foz to get spoilt today however was hindered by a few obstacles....

1. Was sent the wrong timing belt idler - got one with a lip instead of a flat one.
2. Had to cut the hoses off the water pump they were so old and stuck.
3. Couldn't get the rear diff plugs out
4. Didn't realise the gearbox plug is a torx socket and don't have one!

Dammit! To be continued tomorrow. Note to self - don't attempt major service on a public holiday.

I believe the gearbox is the a standard torx either. So just confirm that!

I love my fumoto so much - I'm going to change the oil today just so I can play with it.

The fumoto is so handy, I just wish the nipple wasn't the lowest point on the front of my car. Feels like just a matter of time until it collects a large rock :|

get the nipple-less one.

(I never thought I'd say 'no nipple' was a better option)
