I understand most of you hate the look of the new WRX, but in our opinion its the best looking WRX to date. I haven't liked the older versions of the WRX, but this one just does it for me. We were down at the local Bob Jane today getting some new rubber for the Charade and there just happens to be a Subaru delership next door. While we were waiting for them to fit the new tyres i decided that we should go and have a look at the new models and in the showroom there sat one STI WRX and 1 Tuned By STI Liberty, and i must say that they are both very nice cars. We both prefer the interior of the Liberty. The seats are nicer, the trim is nicer, its just a nicer design inside and those rims are sex. If i was to buy one of the 2 it would have to be the Liberty for the interior design.

It's a no contest.
As Tony Montana would say:
In this country, you gotta make the money first.
Then when you get the money, you get the power.
Then when you get the power, then you get the women.

i dunno about no contest fatcat It all depends on what you want it for i supose. The Liberty looks much more refined and comfortable, yet the WRX would run rings around it as far as performance goes

WRX STi has more grunt potential, the Liberty is a more refined and complete package.

I'm going to have to say the wrx lol, ask me in 10years and I'll probably say liberty though. Despite its looks, as Jeff said it will run rings around the liberty. Can get them looking alright lowered, red tail lights and nice wheels.

STI Lib for me. It would just be better on a day to day basis. It has a bit more room, nicer interior e.t.c.

Everyone has there own opinion, and if i had the money, I'd seel the charade and buy a new WRX STI for a small run about. Keep my B4 or upgrade that to a Tuned By STI Liberty, but then I don't think I'll ever have that much spare change

now i'm confused here.

First we were talking about WRX vs Lib STi, but it now appears we're talking about the Impreza STi vs Lib STi.

After reading recent reviews, and inspecting them first hand, I'd be very reluctant about the new impreza, for reasons as already outlined. If It were me.......

Why?

The latest AUDM Turbo Subarus, I am not a fan of. I mean, who sticks on an electric air pump onto the motor for emissions? zomgareyooforreal?

Don't get me wrong, I am no subaru hater. I love them. I love modified ones... But if I had to buy new, the evo is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo (x eleventy bahizzy-ion times) much better out of the box in contrast to the lib/imp.
