Hey there...

I have been lurking around here for a little while with the odd post, joined a few years ago when I got my BRZ.

Just a bit of background on some of the cars that i have had my first car was a LJ GTR Torana which i still wish i had, then a 94 200SX, that made way for a 99 WRX loved this one, then a 01 RX Liberty, then a R32 GTSt, then i got a B4 which got written off in the 07 floods in Newcastle.

I didn't really have any nice cars for myself for awhile, till I got my BRZ in 2012.

Well the BRZ is gone now it had to make way for a NP300 Navara because we got a camper trailer and needed something to tow it.

Well I got my wife's H6 outback serviced at my mate at Cardiff Automotive and he let me borrow his RS and that is when the bug bit again.

I have been reading Matts thread and it has giving me a few ideas, so the search had begun to find my own RS to play with since I turn 40 this year i thought it would be a nice birthday present.

So I looked at one in Sydney that had a WRX conversion but the body was a little rough so I passed on that one, then I came across one in QLD that needs a new motor but the body looks much better so I made a offer and now its on its way from QLD on a transport so it should be here soon.

Well i have written enough thanks for hanging around this far here are a few pics that I have of it, It's going to be a slow project can't really do to much to it till my birthday in June, wife's orders but we see hey... ;)

Anyway here are some pics let me know what you guys think.....

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.

Score!

Looks pretty original and un-molested, except for the dodgy BOV install!

Are you planning on modding it to the hilt or keeping it as original as possible?

Thanks Matt....

Glad to be part of the RS world and I'm sure that I will be doing both of those things....

I'm from the Newcastle area, I wouldn't mind catching up at some stage and checking out your beast and picking your brain on a few things if that's ok mate....

Thanks GNG...

Went to have a look at it today and it looks pretty good, thinking about send it to get the paint touched up and a couple of dents removed first..

Also the motor will be come out soon as well, it started up and idles ok but when you give it a bit of rev's you can hear the knock...

If its a closed deck and if its not to bad, what do you guys think of a rebuild or is it better to get a replacement WRX motor for it....

Any way let me know your thoughts on the engine situation.....

Thanks for the input in advance....
