So I'm just curious (not cheap).
When the fuel light comes on when the needle is very close to the bottom, what's the ranger there or has anyone gone completely to empty?

I drive an 02 RS Bugeye for clarification as I assume it will be different for different year models.

My fuel light comes on with 15L left in the tank, I'd say its different for every car. Best way is to fill it to full when the light comes on, and compare how many litres went in against tank size.

Subys run an in tank fuel pump. It's not good to run them real low as the fuel cools the pump helping longevity

Also more likely to suck shit up. Like when I'm vacuuming the paddocks after the cows have been in there.

Fuel light in my MY02 B4 means about 15 litres remaining out of my 64L tank.

I filled up this morning: 53.21 litres. travelled 554km = 9.6L/100km.

All you need to do is take away your airbags, your aircon, your passengers, and your radio...then sit back and enjoy the fuel savings
