2001 Subaru Liberty B4

Been lurking for a couple of years now and thought its about time to make a build thread.
Bought the b4 off Mosti a while back ( http://www.subyclub....c/90-mostis-b4/

Original Mods:

  • Trust Muffler
  • Whiteline 20mm non-adj rear sway bar
  • King Springs
  • GFB GT Hybrid BOV
  • Carbon hood scoop trim
  • Whiteline front strut brace
  • Front lip
  • Rear spats
  • Stereo - blown focals front and back, mcintosh

Mods so far:

  • Sti seats
  • Legacy garnish and lights
  • Cusco front strut brace with brake cylinder stopper
  • Tbsti wheels courtesy of Mosti
  • Legacy 3 piece front lip
  • Stereo - Focal splits front, focal coaxial rear, jl audio dual 12", pioneer double din touch unit, pioneer mono amp and sony 4 channel amp

Planned Mods:

  • Brembos (have calipers and braided lines just need the rest)
  • Blitzen side skirts, Install them tomorrow
  • 8" wide Enkei sti wheels courtesy of Mosti (just need to get the tyres swapped over)\
  • Coilovers probably BC BR's
  • Spoilerless bootlid
  • Redo the tint

Pretty keen on leaving the engine/turbos stock, I always get a smile out of the second turbo kicking in.

It had a carbon wrap on it, looked pretty good for what it was. Unsure of where mosti got the lip.

So I finally got the blitzen skirts on.. Turned out ok but the paint is way off. Might get the resprayed but wont be for awhile.

Makes it look boxier. I don't mind it at all. Can't tell with the paint difference on my phone.

This car would look really good with a boot lip spoiler.

Random and off topic but I just realised this model B4 seems to share the same headlights with my early model SG Fotester XT

Yeah that's the look i was going for. The factory skirts remind me of an old wrx, makes the car look short

Some sort of aftermarket cruise control system, currently not functioning for unknown reasons

If its the same cruise control as mine, the cylinder thing being held up is some sort of vacuum component of the cruise. On my car its mounted above the timing cover near the oil cap.

Shit old photo from my phone, but you get the idea.

You made me miss the carbon lip on the scoop, I removed mine again because the engine heat/summer sun kept making the double sided trim tape come off. Also it added wind noise on the highway. If I fit it again, it'll probably get glued down.

I had to solder the IR sensor back onto my cruise control, I found it under the drivers seat when I bought the car... its a purple pimple thing on the dash. The remote on the steering wheel works like a TV remote.

? You mean the cylinder with a throttle cable coming off it near the LHS headlight?

I meant the gal strap up against the intercooler and firewall with four visible holes and a couple of bolt heads
