Oils.. cheap and good ?

Good to know.

 

I thought it was a good oil and hadn't had any issues with it. I stock up on it any time Autobarn or Repco has a sale as I tend to change oil every 5000km and do a lot of driving.

Mobil Delvac MX is the only oil I will ever put in a factory spec Subaru engine. Good stuff.

Engine oil doesn't cause leaks unless you have bumped up the oil pressure by switching to a thicker spec. Worn out seals cause leaks.

thats why you dont use delvac on older engines, older engines tend to have worn seals and normal oils clog those leaky seals over time, delvac has great cleaning properties, which in turn cleans all the gunk helping to seal, the worn seals and causing leaks, so i think its better to be used on newer or rebuilt engines
