I had always admired the 3.0r Spec Bs and when I saw this up for sale I couldn't help myself, 2005 3.0r Spec B 6 speed manual. Previous owner had already done some of modifications I wanted such as.
Kido flex tune.
Mesh grill.
X force mufflers.
STI short shifter.
Slim weather shields.
Since I bought the car I have moved my post fl spec b wheels on and got new brake pads installed.
Would like to do more but I'll probably just enjoy it as is for a while before the new mods start.
Should really take some proper photos one day.

Congrats man, car looks really good. H6's are a special thing especially when mated to that gearbox. It's already got a nice set of mods which is nice.

Think the Ultrex mufflers I have in my garage, which were on the outback, were as big as those.

Been struggling to stop myself from modifying my car to try and save money but I gave in to temptation today. The front of the car was looking a bit boring so I picked up new front lip. No-one seems to make them for pre-face 3.0 bumpers so I had bend it a little and drill new holes but I think it looks great. Livens up the boring front bumper heaps. Also took the ratty plate cover of.

Small things like that count though. Plates would be a lot cheaper to get in Victoria then they are here in NSW... Bunch of rorts.

Looking great mate. I'm guessing a Ultrex lip? Plates in NSW are SOOO expensive.

Got the lip from On The Run Motorsports. Cost $400 for black one slim one normal plates here in vic. How much worse in NSW?

Is that a one-off price?

Mine set me back a couple of hundred and an ongoing $99 per year, that's on top of registration and insurance.

$400 for standard, black plates? New, slim line black pates over the counter at VIC Roads for $160, whatever the next combination is.

Got black slim line's on the Golf when I registered it, $129 back then.

Thats heaps better, I went through the restyle-prestige plates on vic plates.

Think so.
