Hey guys having a few issues with my 99 GT foz. When I take off from a dead stop it splutters a little bit and almost dies but idles and drives fine afterwards. And when I'm hard on the throttle boost drops back to 0psi for a split second then comes back again. But it comes back at the same psi that it left at normally around 8psi. (I run 12psi daily). I have checked for a boost leak couldn't find any. Pretty much all my vacuum hoses are new Turbosmart hosing. Checked the bov, It seems to be working properly. Wastegate actuator seems to be moving freely (with some force of course), haven't tested it to find out when it opens as don't have a compressor. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

what other engine mods?
Sounds more like a fuel issue.
Possibly a dirty/ dying AFM or a TPS problem.

Vf34
3" TBE
Custom top mount
3 stage boost controller with EBoost2 boost management system
Bosch 044
Probably more I can't think of right now.

+1 to Rob's diagnosis, I had the same problems with my '99. Clean TPS+throttle+AFM, reset ECU learning and report any difference

Tried it. Didn't change anything.
Starting to lean towards the actuator as this sounds pretty much like the problems I'm having.

Solenoid wouldn't cause the stutter off idle

Where are you located ?
I've got a maf, solenoid and map sitting on the bench at home
And a whole manifold with spares

My money is on the maf
They always fail, cleaning doesn't always work

Also,
an un-tuned ECU with a VF34?
you're far out of the standard ECU's programmed parameters.
I'd expect a stutter is probably the least of your worries
