I leave mine in neutral at the lights all the time.

My leg would get too tired otherwise.

Tinted a SS wagon this morning. It looked awesome after it.

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Yeah, freezing here too.

There's been a helicopter hovering over and near my house for like 20 mins. So fscking loud.

If I am waiting at the lights I like to leave the car in gear, let the clutch out just to the friction point and redline the engine while I wait... if the car tries to roll forward just apply the hand brake... also that smell is normal.

I do the same.

But once moving; if I need to speed up I just let the clutch out a bit more and push it in a bit if I need to slow down.
If I need to stop in a hurry, I press the throttle a bit further so it goes into fuel cut.
