Dang Nik, Dang... How much would a feed like that set you back ?

$135/pp

Cheap as far as I'm concerned. Tony is an amazing chef, and a great bloke - the staff are amazing, the whole experience isn't just about the food - someone remembering what your favourite drink to start the night with is such a special feeling.

Missed three courses because of bad photos, also had braised lamb with mash/ prawn ravioli & some kind of frittata thing.

Seriously, we got fed.

God that is a nice car! that is a very nice car.

You're not wrong.

However, if I was spending that much on a car, I wouldnt expect condensation inside my taillights. This one did.

Nice one mate.

Do it yourself though.

Fairly easy to do.
Just spray alot of WD40 on it a while before you take it off. Make it a bit easier for those stubborn bolts.

Cheers dude. If I had a hydraulic jack or hoist I would! I wouldn't have a clue and I'd probably get my dad to do it, as he's done it tonnes of times, but he's always working and **** so it's just hard. My mate at jax quickfit owes me a few favours so I'll get him to chuck it up on the hoist and do it for me I think haha.

Fair enough.

All you need is a scissor jack and 2 jack stands and a basic spanner and socket kit.
If you can get someone to do it for you though, may as well.

Make sure you throw up a sound clip after.

As Jesse suggested, soak the bolts in wd40 first. I did mine days before (you can still drive it) and it still sheared the two bolts at the cat.

You will have to delete/modify the plastic cover under the motor.

If its running through the stock exhaust, you can just hear the boxer note...
... with your head inside the rear muffler and the engine doing 9000rpm. :P

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

Yeah man I did mine pretty easy, used only one jack stand and I think a 12 or 14mm socket.
Easy as! Let me know what it sounds like heat wrapped. Mines very tinny.

Nick, if you get stuck mate, let me know. Happy to lend a hand.

Just went out with a mate and took some pics of the rig with his 2 new external flashes. Some of them look epic. Pics to come.

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.

Don't use a single jack stand. Incredibly dangerous. Jase will tell ya!

After my little incident I went out and bought a hydraulic one and it's come in use many times. I was very fortunate not to be under the car when it fell

It wasn't the jack (the one out of the car) it was a 1000kg stand.

Big road trip, Shiv? MDSC 2012?! Outback across the Outback!

Accomm is sweet. Weather is a bit how you goin' though. Overcast today and pouring tonight. Thinking of heading to the Gold Coast tomorrow and having a look around. Still loving it though :)

It wasn't the jack (the one out of the car) it was a 1000kg stand.

Ah good stuff :)

Outbacks across the Outback would be pretty epic. Our cars invented the Outback.

Commodore s/wag.
Good highway car. Just above idle at 100kph!

At this speed the Subaru is spinning at nearly 3500!
