HI guys, I'm back, again, i haven't owned a turbo Subaru for 3 weeks (longest I have ever gone without buying a car since AWD-T entered my life many moons ago)

Anyway, this one, this might be something, and I actually plan on keeping it for a few years.

Some of you may know i have been on the lookout for a gen3 NA for a conversion for a while, i had planned on not making any exceptions on a rev D-E in white with sunroofs, but as we all know, what you want and what is available does not always match.

So, i found a Rev A GTB in white(sans sunroofs) that was mechanically tight with only superficial/replaceable panel damage and bit the bullet (the thought of driving an NA before I have all the parts for a complete conversion, frankly, was unacceptable).

The "plan" assuming all my ducks line up is this: this wagon, will be the Business!

Thats enough life story, the car as it sits now:
My 99 GTB(3rd owner, allegidly) imported 12/1999
190ks on her, no mechanical issues at all.
Silly carbon wrapped Bonnet
New billies with king low's
Horribly plastidipped wheels
Interior stock

Rooted front and rear bar, dints in 3 doors, interior 90% excellent

Plans for the future:
the usual....
Fully built 2 litre avcs, cams, forged blah blah Blah
Either My prova or Buddly Club coilovers
either the OZ 18's or Weds 19's
6 speed and r180 rear end
Brembos
Braces all over the place
Swaybars
Alloy Control Arms
Body kit and wing.
Lots more

Basically i want it to look, and go very hard.
I will update once things start to happen, but the engine is only half built

And subscribed.

There is going to be a handful of very fast gen 3 wagons in NSW on the road in the next year or so.

one pair each side -- see which rides better :)

Personally - I vote gold Oz.. and which set of springs will hold up the wagon rear with a load better? Do I see one set progressive springs and one not?

19's on a Gen3.... nah too big. If you building a monster to go and handle and then put 19's on it with rubber band tyres because you cant fit wide rims on a Gen3 without major work...My 2c.

I personally like rims to match the era of the car.

Looks alright for now.

Prova's and the Oz rims are on.

Once the weds get painted they will be going on. (speaking of, anyone have the paint code for gen4 TB STI rims, the dark gunmetal color)
Ive had no drama's fitting 19's with 35 & 40 series on a gen 3 before, just have to limit it to 8.5 inches wide, to me even 18's look small on them, but its all personal preference at the end of the day.

Anyway, quick pic:

Nice. Those rims look great.

Apparently Subaru never released the paint codes for their rims. I've seen way too many people trying to get the paint code for the STi gold to no avail. I believe it'd be the same for any other colours.

Wanting to buy/looking for: single genuine STi rim, genuine STi front lip, Corazon or Zero/Sports grille and another OEM grille

Can you hook a brother up? Please contact me now. I have cash ready.
